Virtual Cards and Venmo Connections

We finished building Virtual Cards.* Your physical debit card information is now accessible online, and you can also instantly create virtual-only cards for online payments.

Here are a few reasons we think you’ll like Virtual Cards:

• Immediate access to your funds, no matter where you are in the world. You can make online payments as soon as you’ve opened your Mercury account, all while your physical card is still in the mail.
• Increased fraud protection. You no longer have to worry about disruptions to your business if your card is lost or stolen: Virtual Cards can be frozen or replaced instantly.
• Cards are now easy to use and nice to look at. Thanks to Juliana, Lev, and David for making card management a rare marriage of form and function. You all are great.

Venmo & Mercury

February was the month of love and also the month we integrated with Venmo. You can now link Mercury to Venmo and pay contractors or Aeron chair resellers directly from your checking account.

What’s next

Our iOS app is well on its way. Michael and Sebastien are deep in the heart of development. Wish them luck. (Don’t worry, Android users. We know you exist).
