The Mercury 2020 Recap

As we wave goodbye to 2020 and gear up for more “no you go ahead” Zoom calls and DASH-boosting dinners, we thought we’d take a look back at how we spent our year together.

You moved a lot of money.

Nice work.

Mercury Treasury dashboard

$110M went into Treasury & it’s only been about a week. 484% more e-commerce companies use Mercury now.

Mercury wires

You sent 500,000+ wires. You can now send even more. 19,000+ debit cards exist, and they look good doing it.

And you did it pretty fast.

You Maximized Efficiency™ this year. On average it took about:

1 second to copy a routing number

You gave us a lot to work on.

Juliana, Mercury's Head of Design, works on Treasury

Treasury is made of 40,400 lines of code, which is neat.

Sebastien, iOS engineer, and Veronica, Head of PeopleImmad, Founder and CEO

Immad ended his 2.5 year quest for our domain.

Max, CTO

And you worked hard too.

Linear raised a $13m Series A. Wren gave $336k to afforestation. Trust & Will is a finalist in SXSW Pitch®. Tandem made Music Rooms. Golden taught us 4,815 things.

We sent out ~5,000 cups of tea to you. We do like tea.

Immad had a big year.

A tweet from Immad

~4,500 of you liked this startup-unrelated tweet from Immad.

Tuna emoji

We made 42 emoji versions of Immad’s callsign, charlietuna, in our team Slack. He hates all of them.

And we all got to know each other a little better.

Mercury Raise

407 startups applied to Raise. 163 great investors joined, too.

20 partners worked with us to offer perks for a stronger startup stack.
